When
FC Porto welcome FC Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday, they do so with a maximum
six points in UEFA Champions League Group A. It was a different story
four years ago.
Back then, Porto lost 1-0 at home to Dynamo on matchday three, their third defeat in a row, and their hopes looked slim to say the least. But a fortnight later they travelled to Kyiv, prevailed 2-1, and ended up winning the group and reaching the quarter-finals, where they were only just pipped by eventual runners-up Manchester United FC.
Involved that night at Dynamo's old Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium were goalkeeper Helton and midfielder Lucho González, who volleyed in the added-time winner. They reminisce about that night with UEFA.com in the video above and speak about their ambitions for this season, Helton saying: "You always have to dream."
